Active travel is the difference between looking at life and living it .
Rather than experiencing the world as if it were simply a museum with everything cased behind a glass, we invite you to experience the world with all of your senses.
Feel the young morning frost by the river, the pleasant shiver when your hand touches the water, the singing of the birds hiding in the shrubs, the reflecting of the trees on the current, the delicious local Italian food and wine at the end of your day.
Get ready for a unique experience.
Smart, engaging, knowledgeable, caring and endlessly enthusiastic, our tour leaders are renowned for their ability to transform a great vacation into the kind of inspiring experience you could never orchestrate on your own. Get to know your guides below:
Born and raised in Emilia-Romagna, where food and culture reign sovereign, he grew up exploring the world of sports in both team to solo disciplines (from basketball to backcountry skiing, passing through street hockey, snowboard, mountain biking and windsurf). Every single experience left a mark on him, leaving a blooming taste for adventure. After graduating as a Tourist Services Specialist, he set off on two wheels for a solo, one-year long bicycle tour in Europe. When he returned, he turned his new passion into a proper job as a freelance tour leader until his new call for the water took over. Windsurfing gave Alain the chance to move with the wind and explore freedom on both white sandy beaches and the Alps’ rocky peaks. When the wind stopped on top of Kronplatz mountain, he began studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Sport and Event Management in the heart of the Dolomites. His actual mission? Showing the beauty of Italy to passionate folks like you!
Born and raised in Padua, Alvin was a triathlon athlete for years, taking part in the most popular Italian and European competitions such as Hero+race and Ironman Frankfurth, before focusing more on kayaking and rafting and canoeing experiences. He graduated in Economics at the Cà Foscari University of Venice and obtained licenses in multiple sports (including kayak instructor, rafting guide, swim instructor, national English and French tour leader). Throughout the years he carried out many different jobs, from shepherding in New Zealand to being a baseball extra at Disneyland Paris amusement park. Backpacking in the most remote places around the globe is his greatest passion. Furthermore, in his free time he loves to read books sipping a good French apple. He works as rafting guide in Brenta river and as multisport tour leader for several travel agencies.
